To use international dialing codes on mobiles/cell phones add a + sign in front of the dial code. On landlines/hard lines you may need to omit numbers (for example leading zeros) for local numbers.

In an emergency you will most likely experience stress and anxiety, affecting your attention and decision making.. rendering you unreliable for describing on the phone your location & problem to a 911 dispatcher.

While it is imperative to call professionals in emergencies, it is equally important to notify bystanders via Nino! Especially when you are in a rural area where the average paramedic response time is well over deadly limits (30min).
